Katrina is originally from Margate and now lives in south London. She won the 2008 Templar Poetry Competition and the 2008 Ledbury Poetry Festival Text Poem Contest. Her pamphlet Lunch at the Elephant & Castle was published last autumn (Templar Poetry). A first full collection, The Girl with the Cactus Handshake, for which she received an Arts Council England writer’s award, is coming out with Templar this October. Katrina has an MA in Creative and Life Writing from Goldsmiths, and recently returned from a Hawthornden Fellowship in Scotland.
