Heather was born in Canada, but has been working in literature for the past 6 years in the UK. Her work has been produced throughout Europe, Asia & North America and published in magazines and anthologies such as McSweeneys, City Lighthouse (Tall-Lighthouse), Dance the Guns to Silence (Waterways), The Moosehead Anthology X (DC Books) and Life lines (Oxfam). Her first collection, Horizon & Back, was published by Tall Lighthouse and her second collection with them will be out at the end of 2009. The Last Thakur, her first feature film, premiered at the London Film Festival and will be in Curzon cinemas summer 2009.
