That’s the best we can do to sum up all that’s been happening on the site in the last few weeks. The conversation between Tess Biddington and Adam Burbage finished with a breathtaking mix of physics and the English countryside. And Joe Dunthorne and Caleb Klaces’ conversation has homed from abstract space and time right into Adolf Hitler’s bunker – with still one more to go on that.
In our new chains, Kirsty Logan boils down with short, elegant poems, while George Ttoouli explodes out. In the first of its kind on the site, George’s latest poem addresses his partner and the process; ‘Dear K’ could become the unofficial song of Likestarlings. The engagement between Nicky Arscott and A F Harrold is fierce and direct, a debate with a logic of its own. Looking forward to seeing whether it comes to any conclusions.
We’d like to thank the huge number of people who have been in touch with comments and requests to take part. New pairings will appear soon. We’re also looking into how we can flag up new poems more obviously and other web things…more on that coming.
One of the people to get in touch Dr Phuoc-Tan Diep, who runs Cleave Poetry webzine, a similar and ambitious online experiment in collaborative poetics, we recommend it.
