Likestarlings is a place for talking in poems and pictures. We pair poets with poets and photographers with photographers. Each pair produces a sequence of new works responding in turn to one another. Our palaver blog goes beyond poetry and photography to discuss collaboration in theory and in practice in a wide range of places. Please take a look, and feel free to add comments, opinions and suggestions here. Read poems here, look at photographs here.
Catching up

It’s been an active couple of weeks on Likestarlings.

We’ve added a dark and affecting conversation between Sheffield-based Suzanne Batty and the Croatian poet Milorad Krystanovich. In quite a feat, I think this chain works as one long poem in five parts, as well as a back and forth. I’ve heard it’s a poem they’re carrying on with, away from the site, too.

A precise and complex exchange is ongoing between Forward Prize winner Tess Biddington and Adam Burbage, a poet and editor from Oxfordshire. I’m still taking the first two poems in.

And a welcome to Joe Dunthorne, who has joined the site with one of the most direct and powerful Likestarlings poems so far.

Thanks to all the poets and Daisy Hildyard for last week’s guest post, too.
