Damian Rogers was born and raised in suburban Detroit. Her poems have appeared in various North American magazines, including Brick, MoonLit, The Walrus, Matrix, Maisonneuve, and Salt Hill. While living in Chicago in the nineties, Rogers worked as an assistant editor at Poetry Magazine and as a book editor for Drag City Records. Since then, she has worked as an editor, arts journalist, and creator of public programs. Paper Radio, her first collection, was nominated for the 2010 Pat Lowther Memorial Award. She lives in Toronto, Canada.
